1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CatholicFunctions.com ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Account Registration
- • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- • You must confirm your email address before accessing the Platform
- • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
3. Event Participation
- • Ticket purchases are subject to availability and the event's maximum capacity
- • Each ticket is assigned to a specific person and includes a unique QR code for check-in
- • Event organizers may cancel events at their discretion; ticket holders will be notified
- • Refund policies are determined by the event organizer
4. Auctions & Bidding
- • All bids are binding commitments to purchase at the bid amount
- • Bids must meet the minimum increment above the current highest bid
- • "Buy It Now" purchases are final and immediately close the auction for that item
- • Winners are responsible for payment of won items before leaving the event
- • The Platform is not responsible for the condition or value of donated items
5. Payments
- • All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, Square, or PayPal)
- • You agree to pay all amounts due for tickets, auction items, raffle entries, and donations
- • Tax receipts are provided for eligible charitable contributions
- • The tax-deductible portion is calculated as the amount paid minus the fair market value
6. Raffles & Fund-a-Need
- • Raffle winners are selected randomly from purchased tickets
- • Raffle ticket purchases are non-refundable
- • Fund-a-Need pledges are processed as donations at the selected giving level
- • Raffles are subject to applicable local laws and regulations
7. Organization Responsibilities
Organizations using the Platform are responsible for the accuracy of their event information, compliance with applicable laws (including charitable solicitation regulations), and the fulfillment of auction items and raffle prizes.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or event cancellations. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Platform in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
